Carina Ari was a famous Swedish prima ballerina. Her life went through many changes. Born in a poor family, she eventually achieved fame, wealth and love.

Her inheritage is dedicated to the world of dance.

The doyen of the foundations
prof Bengt Häger
passed away
the 2nd November 2011
at the age of 95 years.

The funeral took place Wednesday 7 December
in S:t Jacobs kyrka in Stockholm.
After the ceremony there was a memorial gathering
in the Opera’s Gold Foyer.

Drottningholmsteatern

Collaboration initiated with Drottningholms Slottsteater

The Memorial Foundation announced that it has initiated a collaboration with the Stockholm Baroque Dancers and the Drottningholms Slottsteater, by contributing towards the participation of four Swedish dancers in this summer’s guest performance by the French leading Baroque dance company L’Eventail.
